Between five and ten samples have been tested for coronavirus in Slovakia each day in recent days, but none of the samples have tested positive so far, said Slovakia's chief hygienist Jan Mikas before a meeting of the country's Security Council slated to discuss the issue. Nevertheless, he noted that there is a need to be prepared for a positive case of coronavirus in Slovakia, while an epidemic cannot be ruled out, either. "Much will depend on how we'll be able to catch a possible positive case and its contacts in order to prevent the infection from spreading," said Mikas, adding that there's no reason to panic at the moment.
