Several groups of activists staged a protest against the export of arms to the countries which violate human rights at the Czech IDET arms trade fair today. Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) took part in the opening of the fair where he backed the Czech armament industry, saying it was a pity that it had been restricted after the 1989 fall of the Communist regime. Amnesty International (AI) warned of what it called irresponsible export from the Czech Republic.
