Prosecutor charges doctor accepting alcohol and sweets as bribes

A prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor's Office on Tuesday pressed charges against a doctor identified only as Lubos Ch., who allegedly accepted bribes in the form of sweets and alcohol. Special Prosecutor's Office spokeswoman Jana Tokolyova clarified that the doctor allowed himself to be bribed with sweets, coffee, a scented candle and bottles of alcohol from his patients, in particular for prolonging temporary sick leave. Three of his patients have already been convicted of bribery.
