Prosecutor asks new Chamber to release PM Babis for prosecution

Public prosecutor Jaroslav Saroch sent a request for PM and re-elected MP Andrej Babis's release for criminal prosecution in the Capi hnizdo case of a suspected EU subsidy fraud to the new Chamber of Deputies on Tuesday, the Prague Public Prosecutor's Office spokesman Ales Cimbala said today. The prosecution of ANO chairman Babis was interrupted since he was re-elected to the the lower house of Czech parliament and re-gained the deputy's immunity.
