Prisoners might contest in court the fines meted out for them within disciplinary punishments, the Constitutional Court (US) decided today. Until now, jurisdiction did not have the power to look into the fines. The US judges nodded to a proposition tabled by the Supreme Administrative Court (NSS) suggesting a cancellation of a part of law. Consequently, the section that excludes court re-examination of some disciplinary punishments will not newly apply to the fines.
