Catholic priest, Jesuit and former signatory of the Charter 77, a manifesto in support of human rights observance in the then-communist Czechoslovakia, Frantisek Lizna died on Thursday evening at the age of 79 after being hospitalised with Covid-19 this week, Olomouc Archbishopric spokesman Jiri Gracka told CTK. No details concerning the last farewell have been released yet as Lizna served in the archbishopric, but was also a member of the Jesuits who are likely to organise the funeral.
