President Zeman hospitalised, his spokesman giving no details

President Milos Zeman was transported to the Central Military Hospital (UVN) in Prague on Tuesday, news portal Novinky.cz has reported, but his spokesman Jiri Ovcacek has not commented on his health condition. The website said Zeman had reached the hospital just after 11am. Before the presidential convoy, Zeman's wife Ivana Zemanova came to the facility. In recent years, Zeman was treated several times in the UVN. Last year, his broken arm was operated on there. A year before, Zeman was there on a convalescence stay. Zeman suffers from diabetes and neuropathy in his legs. Due to the latter problem, he has been wheelchair-bound since earlier this year.
