President to deliver state of the republic address at September House session

President Zuzana Caputova will deliver a State of the Republic address at the September parliamentary session and has asked House Chair Boris Kollar to include this item in the agenda, the president's spokesperson Martin Strizinec told TASR on Friday. Caputova made the first such speech in Parliament in June 2020, when she spoke mainly about the COVID-19 pandemic, its impacts and solidarity, but also support for science, the need for changes to the economic model, education, support for health and the rule of law.
