President, PM send Xmas wishes to Orthodox, Greek Catholic Church

January 6th, 2020

President Andrzej Duda and PM Mateusz Morawiecki on Monday sent greetings to the faithful of the Orthodox, Greek Catholic and Eastern Churches who, according to the Julian calendar, are celebrating Christmas. In a message on Twitter, President Duda wished the faithful of the Orthodox, Greek Catholic and Eastern Churches prosperity, happiness and peace. "Let us seek what unites us and builds our common good; all of us are the children of one God," PM Morawiecki wrote on Twitter on the eve of the Orthodox Church's Christmas Day. Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas Eve on January 6 and Christmas Day on January 7.
