President: In Tomko we're losing person who always kept Slovakia in mind

With the passing of Cardinal Jozef Tomko, we are losing a person who always kept Slovakia and its interests on mind, who helped a lot of people fleeing the communist regime and who, until the last moments of his life, gave us optimism and hope that we can handle all crises, President Zuzana Caputova posted on a social network in connection with Cardinal Tomko's death on Monday.
