President Caputova to task Heger with forming new cabinet

President Zuzana Caputova will accept the resignation of Prime Minister Igor Matovic (OLaNO) in the morning of Tuesday (March 30) and subsequently task Eduard Heger (OLaNO), the current Vice-premier and Finance Minister, to put together and head the new Government, President's spokesperson Martin Strizinec confirmed to TASR on Monday. "The President is ready to accept the resignation of Igor Matovic tomorrow morning and task Eduard Heger with the forming of the new Cabinet. All her subsequent actions will be guided strictly by the standard constitutional principles," stated Strizinec.
