President accepts Ciznar's request to step down as PG on August 10

President Zuzana Caputova has accepted Prosecutor-General Jaromir Ciznar's request to be relieved of his duties, TASR learnt from Caputova's spokesman Martin Strizinec on Friday. The head of state met the prosecutor-general earlier this week. Subsequently, Ciznar officially asked her to release him from his post and the president accepted this. "In line with the law, [the president] agreed with Mr. Ciznar that his tenure in the post would end as of August 10.
