Premier to present gift to Pope during private audience

Prime Minister Eduard Heger and his family will meet Pope Francis for a private audience at the Apostolic Nunciature during the latter's upcoming visit to Slovakia, TASR has learnt from the Government Office press department. Heger and his wife will present a private gift to the Holy Father, said the press department, without providing any details regarding the gift. Pope Francis will pay a visit to Slovakia between September 12-15. He will visit Bratislava, Kosice, Presov and Sastin (Trnava region). He's scheduled to meet the country's top three constitutional officials as well as representatives of the Jewish and Roma communities. A Holy Mass with a homily given by the pope will take place in Sastin.
