Premier: Cardinal Tomko had influence on church events worldwide

During the years of his life, Cardinal Jozef Tomko became an important figure with influence not only on Slovak but on global church events, Premier Eduard Heger stated in connection with the cardinal's passing on Monday, expressing his sincere condolences to his relatives. "He deserves huge thanks and appreciation for his service," Heger posted on a social network.
