Prague's St Ludmila Church granted basilica minor honorary title

Prague's St Ludmila Church has gained the title basilica minor, which the Pope bestows on significant church buildings, local priest Jakub Karel Berka told CTK on Tuesday, adding that the title emphasises the church's role in the surrounding area near the centre of Prague. The title basilica minor has been most often granted to pilgrimage churches, which can be recognised by the papal symbol placed on them.
