Prague Pride to be held on August 2-8, once again without parade

The Prague Pride LGBT festival will take placefrom August 2 to August 8 this year, but once again without the traditional carnival parade crossing the city, that will be left out to prevent the coronavirus spread, Daniel Zikmund told CTK on behalf of the organising Prague Pride group today. The 11th Prague Pride festival will offer about 100 events. He mentioned a poll conducted by the European Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA), that showed that less than one fifth of LGBT people speak about their minority orientation or identity openly in Czechia.
