The Prague High Court on Thursday sentenced Vladimir Dbaly, the former director of Prague-Homolka hospital, to ten years in prison, upheld the ruling on the seizure of his property, and rejected his appeal in the case of influencing contracts for the Leksell Gamma Knife purchase and the health records digitisation. The verdict saying that Dbaly received bribes for manipulating hospital tenders has taken effect. Along with other persons sentenced in the case, Dbaly is to cover a part of damage of 112 million crowns incurred to the hospital.
