Poznan boasts lowest jobless rate ever

Poland's western city of Poznan in July recorded its lowest rate of unemployment on record, a mere 1.1 percent, the City Hall reported on Tuesday, quoting data from the County Labour Office. The result is also the lowest in Poland. In July, only 4,100 people remained unemployed in the city of more than half a million inhabitants, 100 less than in June and 400 less than in July 2018. Poznan has also enjoyed the lowest unemployment rate in Poland since 2012.
