Poprad police dealing with defacing of monument to fallen Red Army soldiers

Poprad police are looking into a case in which the Red Army Fallen Soldiers Monument in front of the city's railway station has been defaced. According to the police, the monument was defaced some time between Sunday and Monday. An unidentified suspect(s) painted several white 'Z' letters on the monument and threw a red-brown liquid on it. At the same time, they wrote 'murderers' and 'Putin is a criminal' on the structure.
