Politicians won't be charged for their steps in fighting Covid

Prime Minister Andrej Babis and former health minister Adam Vojtech will not be prosecuted over their steps in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic last autumn, news portal SeznamZpravy said on Wednesday, citing a decision by the Prague Municipal State Attorney's Office. The office upheld the decision of the Prague 1 District State Attorney's Office, which had shelved the criminal complaint filed by lawyer Petr Nemec in October 2020.
