Politicians commemorate victims of May 1945 Prague Uprising

The people who were fighting for freedom and their homeland 76 years ago were heroes and could set an example for current generations, Czech Senate chairman Milos Vystrcil told reporters at a meeting marking the May Prague Uprising against the Nazis today. Politicians commemorated the uprising at a plaque outside the Czech Radio seat where it started on May 5, 1945.
