Politicians, civil orgs voice objection to abortion pill in Hungary

A civil organisation held a demonstration by the building of the state secretariat for health in Budapest on Wednesday, objecting to the abortion pill potentially being made available in Hungary. Attending the demonstration, Deputy Prime Minister and Christian Democratic party leader Zsolt said that children in the fetal stage of development were most vulnerable and stripped of their rights, as they are unable to voice their interests. He added that the Christian Democrats, whether in government or in opposition, takes a pro-life position and has spoken in parliament against the abortion pill.
