Polish, US officials discuss energy cooperation in Brussels

Poland's government commissioner for strategic energy infrastructure, Piotr Naimski, held talks in Brussels on Thursday with representatives of the US administration on cooperation in the gas and atomic energy sectors, among other issues. Naimski met in Brussels with US Energy Secretary Rick Perry and Deputy Under Secretary of State for International Trade Sarah Kemp. They all took part in the first EU-US energy forum, which is intended to increase exports of American LNG to Europe. The Polish official observed that the meeting with Perry was a further step in the Polish-American "energy dialogue."
