Polish, Swedish foreign ministers express support for Ukraine's EU bid

Poland and Sweden support Ukraine's European aspirations, Polish and Swedish foreign ministers, Jacek Czaputowicz and Margot Wallstrom, said at the Taras Shevchenko University in Kiev on Friday. "Ukraine is the cornerstone of the Eastern Partnership programme. I'm convinced that the European Union should continue to support Ukraine in the implementation of the association deal," Jacek Czaputowicz said. The Ukraine-EU Association Agreement, signed in 2014, simplifies bilateral trade procedures and converges policies and regulations between the partners.
