There is a need for greater support for the countries of the Eastern Partnership in relation to their implementation of reforms and the fight against corruption, Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstroem argued in Warsaw on Thursday. Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz added that institutional changes also need to be introduced. The Swedish and Polish foreign ministers took part in a debate on Thursday on the subject of the future of the Eastern Partnership, organised in Warsaw in connection with the project's tenth anniversary.
