Polish Sejm calls for return to talks on EU budget
November 19th, 2020
The Sejm (lower house) on Thursday passed a resolution calling for a return to negotiations and the reaching of an agreement on the next EU budget. The resolution, authored by the ruling Law and Justice (PiS) party, calls on the governments of all EU member states and EU bodies to return to talks and to reach an agreement in line with EU treaties and the conclusions of the July European Council.
