A 'sanitizing gate' in the form of a doorway that disinfects protective clothing, developed by the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, southern Poland, has reached the final stage of the UN's international Healing Solutions for Tourism Challenge. The competition, run by the UN's World Health Organisation and the World Tourism Organisation, is aimed at finding the most innovative start-ups and initiatives that can contribute to the global fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
