October 16th, 2019
The economic policy of Poland's ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) and the continuation of current changes to the judicial system have a negative influence on Poland's credit profile, the rating agency Moody's said in a Tuesday statement. The agency forecasts the 2020 general government deficit at 0.6 percent of GDP, excluding the payment of the so-called 13th retirement-pension bonus. The Polish government forecasts a deficit at 0.3 percent of GDP with one-off measures and at 1.3 percent of GDP without additional earnings.
