Polish ruling party backs financial disclosure for families of politicians

Ruling party Law and Justice (PiS) on Wednesday backed the introduction of financial disclosure requirements for the families of politicians. Oppositionist Civic Platform (PO) has rejected the idea on constitutional grounds. The Sejm (lower house) on Wednesday carried out a second reading of an amendment to laws regulating the work of MPs and Senators, which contains the new regulations.
