Polish president attends US videoconference on pandemic - official

President Andrzej Duda, who took part in a videoconference organised by the US on the effects of the novel coronavirus pandemic, said that transatlantic ties will increase while overcoming the epidemic's consequences, Duda's top aide, Krzysztof Szczerski, said on Thursday. The videoconference 'Managing the Effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic in the Transatlantic Community,' also involved US experts and analysts of international politics. According to Szczerski, it was the latest meeting of the president in this group in the last five years prepared thanks to cooperation with the Atlantic Council.
