Polish president congratulates North Macedonia on NATO accession

Polish President Andrzej Duda congratulated his North Macedonian counterpart Stevo Pendarovski on his country's NATO accession in a Twitter post on Monday. North Macedonia became a NATO member on Friday. "President @SPendarovski, my Friend: Congratulations on your successful efforts to join NATO! Looking forward to seeing North Macedonia in the EU now," Duda tweeted in English. He also wrote in Polish that he is happy to welcome North Macedonia as the 30th member of NATO. "It's a difficult time for the world, but the transatlantic family is growing in strength," the Polish president added.
