Polish president decorates US National Guard

President Bronislaw Komorowski, who is in the US for the Chicago NATO summit, decorated the Governor of Illinois and members of the US National Guard. Addressing the ceremony he noted the common history of Americans and Poles in fighting for independence, making special mention of the role of Polish generals Tadeusz Kosciuszko and Kazimierz Pulaski in the American Revolution and American soldiers' aiding Poland in the 1920 anti-Soviet war.
