Polish MEP to head EP's delegation for relations with Ukraine

Polish MEP Minister Witold Waszczykowski on Thursday was elected chairman of the Delegation to the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Association Committee. Waszczykowski, a former Polish foreign minister, is a member of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group. Meanwhile, Robert Biedron, leader of the Polish Wiosna party, became the chair of the EP's delegation for relations with Belarus. Biedron is a member of the Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats. Another Polish MEP, Magdalena Adamowicz (Group of the European People's Party, Christian Democrats), was elected the chair of the delegation for relations with South Africa.
