Polish medical students urge government to act on climate change

The Polish branch of the International Association of Medical Students IFMSA called on the government in a statement released on Friday to promptly undertake environment protection actions, also by using tools that proved efficient in fighting the ongoing epidemic. In the IFMSA-Poland's position published on World Environment Day, the students urged both the central and local governments, companies and the media to act in the fight against climate change, highlighting its impact on the health and lives of people around the world and also declaring readiness "to take matters into their own hands."
