Polish, Lithuanian ambassadors leave Belarus

Polish ambassador to Belarus Artur Michalski and his Lithuanian counterpart Andrius Pulokas left the country on Monday evening, the independent Belarusian portal TUT.by has reported. On Monday evening, Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau announced a decision in the matter to recall some EU country ambassadors accredited in Belarus. "In agreement with the European External Action Service (EEAS) and the EU member states, we have decided to recall some of the accredited ambassadors in the Republic of Belarus for consultations."
