Polish lawmakers appeal for international support of Ukraine

The lower house of the Polish parliament, the Sejm, has passed a resolution calling for Nato and EU countries to back Ukraine amid fears Russia could soon invade the country. "The Sejm of the Republic of Poland is watching with concern the actions of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. This activity poses a serious risk of causing an armed conflict and destabilising Europe, which is against the interests of the Republic of Poland," the adopted resolution read.
