Polish housing prices up by 8.1 pc y/y in Q2 - stats office

Housing prices in Poland increased by 8.1 percent year on year in the second quarter of 2019, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on Friday. Prices on the secondary market went up faster, by 9.4 percent year on year, while the primary market prices advanced by 6.6 percent, GUS said. Prices of homes went up by 2.3 percent in quarterly terms. This was caused by a primary market price growth of 1.6 percent and secondary market price increase of 3.0 percent.
