Polish health minister warns daily Covid infections may hit 5,000

Poland could see daily coronavirus infection numbers of up to 5,000 in late October, the health minister cautioned on Friday. "At the end of September, the level of infections may reach 1,000 a day," Adam Niedzielski said on public television TVP Info programme.
