The Polish government has approved a 'homeland defence bill' which increases military spending and defines new sources of funding. "Poland must have at its disposal armed forces which are adequate to the current situation, which will be able to repel an attack, and which will be strong enough to prevent an attack," Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the deputy prime minister and leader of the ruling Law and Justice party, said after a meeting of the government which approved the draft on Tuesday.
