Polish FM calls for cooperation between UN and Arab League

"The UN and the Arab League must unite forces in order to find, through synergy, a path to strengthen peace and stability in the Middle East," Polish FM Jacek Czaputowicz told a UN Security Council briefing devoted to UN cooperation with the Arab League. Presenting Poland's assessment of the situation in the Middle East, he stressed that conflicts in Syria, Yemen and Libya "are a threat to Europe's security." He also underlined that terrorism, radicalisation and illegal migration have a negative impact on neighbouring countries and regions.
