Polish flag carrier to launch new flights from Budapest

LOT Polish Airlines will launch two new connections from Budapest in September -- to Brussels and Bucharest -- the airline and Ferenc Liszt Airport in Budapest announced in a joint statement. "From September 2 this year, flights to Brussels and Bucharest will be conducted twice a day, 12 times a week with new Embraer 195s," LOT said, adding its Budapest base would dedicate a plane based in Budapest to service the connections. Flights to Brussels and back will be carried out in the morning and evening, enabling business travel without the need to stay over. LOT will also fly twice daily to Bucharest except at the weekend.
