New tasks that Polish farmers face due to the EU's climate policy and the Green Deal targets require additional funding, Agriculture Minister Jan Ardanowski said at a regional conference of agriculture ministers in Warsaw on Monday. Most EU member states have recently agreed on a Green Deal, an agreement to make Europe climate neutral by 2050. Agriculture ministers of Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Romania, and the EU Agriculture Commissioner Janusz Wojciechowski, came for the Monday meeting to Warsaw to discuss EU agriculture funding.
