The provisional Brexit deal agreed between Brussels and London on Thursday is a big negotiation win, according to Poland's Deputy Foreign Minister responsible for EU affairs, Konrad Szymanski. European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Thursday morning that a Brexit deal had been agreed upon. The agreement, on the one hand, meets Great Britain's expectations concerning the maintenance of the country's integrity and, on the other, it guarantees the integrity of the EU's single market and the bloc's trade interests, Szymanski said before his departure to an EU summit on Thursday. "What's more important, the deal paves the way for protecting citizens' rights through an international agreement..." the Polish minister said.
