Polish employers suggest 6.1 pc minimum wage rise in 2020

Polish employer organisations in a joint communique on Friday suggested that the country's minimum wage should increase to by 6.1 percent to PLN 2,387 (EUR 554) gross in 2020. This year the gross minimum wage stands at PLN 2,250 (EUR 522). Pracodawcy RP, BCC, Konfederacja Lewiatan, Zwi±zek Rzemiosła Polskiego and ZPP all agreed that the rise in 2020 should be 6.1 percent. The organisations also say that next year's wage growth in the public sector should be no higher than 6.1 percent.
