At EUR 0.13/kWh, Poland had the third-cheapest household electricity rates in the EU in the first half of this year, the Eurostat statistical agency informed on Tuesday. Only Bulgaria and Hungary had lower rates (respectively EUR 0.10 and EUR 0.11). Poland's household gas rates (EUR 0.0473/kWh) are also far below the EU average (EUR 0.063), Eurostat reported.
