Poland will recover from the Covid-19 crisis more quickly than most OECD and euro zone countries, according to the OECD December's forecast, a Polish deputy PM has said. In its forecast, the OECD said that after a 3-5 percent drop in 2020, Poland's economy will expand by 2.9 percent in 2021, and by 3.8 percent in 2022. "I am glad that the OECD has noticed Poland's fast response to the crisis," Deputy PM and Development, Labour and Technology Minister Jaroslaw Gowin said after a meeting with OECD President Angel Gurria in Paris on Thursday.
