February 8th, 2021
Polish economic growth fell by 3.4 percent in 2020, according to International Monetary Fund (IMF) estimates, one of the "least severe" contractions in the EU. The country, however, should bounce back this year. "Poland is well positioned for a durable recovery," the IMF said in a press release, with 2021 GDP growth seen at 2.7 percent with EU funding helping to provide an economic boost over the medium term.
