Polish CCourt ruling threatens growth, governance - Fitch

Poland faces "meaningful" risk to growth and governance from its recent Constitutional Court ruling declaring primacy of local law over European law, rating agency Fitch said on its website. In its verdict issued on October 7, Poland's top court declared primacy of the Polish Constitution over EU laws, thus denying the European top court the right to interfere with the Polish judicial system.
