Police: Lorries from abroad can end journey in Slovakia at Easter

The Slovak police have issued a permit for lorries coming from abroad to finish their journeys in Slovakia on Good Friday and Easter Monday (April 2 and 5), Police Corps spokesperson Denisa Bardyova told TASR on Monday. "This exemption will be in place on motorways, expressways, first-category roads and international transit roads for all lorries coming to Slovakia from any of the neighbouring states, with the final destination (e.g. hub or unloading point) being in Slovakia," said Bardyova, adding that the police will still be able to issue specific instructions for lorries based on current conditions in individual locations.
