Police detains 277 illegal immigrants during exercise

The police detained 277 illegal migrants, mostly from Syria, and seven people-smugglers from various countries during the two-day exercise at the Czech-Slovak border, police president office spokeswoman Katerina Rendlova wrote on its web page. The seven people-smugglers are questioned for suspicion of organising and enabling an illegal crossing of the border.
